HOW TO GET INVOLVED

1. Volunteer work

We welcome both part-time and full time volunteers to help at the transition home. If you would like to find out more about how to get involved, please e-mail info@ithembalethu.org.za

In your email please provide the following information:

• Your full name
• Where you are from
• Contact details
• The dates for which you would like to come and volunteer
• Whether you would require accommodation*

* Unfortunately iThemba Lethu does not provide accommodation for volunteers but we will do our best to put you in contact with a local Bed and Breakfast or a friend of iThemba Lethu who can offer accommodation.

2. Donations

Should you wish to make a financial contribution to iThemba Lethu we have included the banking details below.

In order for us to acknowledge your donation, please ensure that you email the following details to glenda@ithembalethu.org.za

• Your name
• Postal address
• Date of deposit

This will make it possible for us to send you a receipt.

iThemba Lethu is registered with SARS and issues receipts for all donations received which can then be submitted by the donor as a tax deduction as per the Receiver of Revenue.

The annual financial audit of iThemba Lethu is conducted by PriceWaterhouseCoopers and the Annual Report is compiled for the period January to December each year. A copy of the Audited Financial Statement is available on request.
